Committee Meeting Minutes -12/06/06

 

November Pack Meeting

 

  • Can we present cake awards differently?  Register the scouts (write name and give them a number) as they come in, so that the Boy Scouts know what cake belongs to what scout.  Then they can present awards to a specific scout.
  • Have all scouts parade through cakes before awards are given.

 

December Pack Meeting

 

  • Eric will borrow Bingo Cage from PTA
  • Den leaders need to tell scouts that each scout that wants to play needs to bring a full sized candy bar (no peanut products) and a pencil.  Den leaders could bring pencils for scouts.
  • Eric will print Bingo Cards
  • Ted will bring APPROPRIATE Christmas CD’s and CD player.
  • Ted set up for a Marine to pick up Toys for Tots.
  • Den leaders have scouts bring a toy for his own age group.
  • Ted will look into having the Marine show the scouts how to post the colors.

 

  • Sue will ask Tommy to send out a group Boy Scout email Boy Scouts to bring a toy (for older kids) to the Pack meeting. 
  • Kevin will bring 2 big boxes for Toys.

 

  • ***If school is cancelled on Friday, Dec 15th, have the scouts bring the toys to Ted’s house and he will bring toys to Marine place.  Ted’s address is 281 Old Sandown Rd.  887-0522

 

 

Jan 12 Pack Meeting

  • Eric will confirm that church guy is speaking on Helping Others thru mission trips.
  • Eric will look into having somebody talk about the Cub Scout Religious Emblem that each Scout can achieve (on their own) 
  • Nancy Pilotte is a mentor for the Catholic Religious Emblem.
  • Ted will look into having somebody come into talk about Camp.

 

Veteran’s Day Parade

  • low attendance
  • we had enough food at Stevens

 

Scouting for Food

  • 35 cub scouts in attendance.  More Cubs than Boy Scouts!!!!

 

November Round Table Meeting

  • Monarchs games scheduled for Sat Jan, 27th at 7:35pm and Sat. April 7th at 2:05pm.  Tickets are $10.00 each.

 

Rechartering

  • Computer work was done by Sue.  Ted is going to re-charter with Scott Hanson on Thursday.

 

Sleep Over at Boston Museum of Science

  • Call Melissa Pollard for more information.

 

Dec. Round Table

  • Sue needs replacement to go.  Her son is in a concert that night.  Ted will look into getting scout bucks another way.

 

Winter Carnival

  • Feb.10th

 

Chuck Wagon Derby/Weblos Weekend

  • April 14th
