Ted will try to get a volunteer to coordinate summer camp at
next meeting

Den 2 will do a flag ceremony and explanation of flag and
folding it

HAM Radio Sheldon confirmed Tate Keegan is coming

Candy Bar Bingo- Bring a candy bar

Meeting will go a little longer than normal den leaders
should notify parents in advance

JUSTIN will send email to den leaders to make sure their
boys bring their registration $$ and Winter Carnival $$.

This takes place Saturday Feb 11 from 9-3. Costs $5 per participant if registered by
Feb 3 ($7 after that).

Individually? As a pack?(Justin will get registration info at round
table)

Den 3 will do a skit

Den 1 will do a skit

Mini Shot Put Each boy tries to throw 10 navy beans into a
quart jar from a chalk line on the floor
ii.
Balloon Hammer Throw Tie an inflated balloon to the end of
a string. Each boy throws the
hammer by the end of the string
iii.
Paper Plate Discus Throw Boys throw a paper plate from a
chalk line. The plate must be held flat
in the hand against the palm, with the fingers wrapped over the top and not
sailed with thumb and fingers.
iv.
Giant Shot Put Boys toss and inflated paper bag, or a bag
filled with crumpled newspaper with a string tied around the end to seal it,
for distance. Boys make the throw from
the shoulder as if it were a shot put.
v.
Heel-to-Toe Foot Race Boys walk 10 feet moving heel-to-toe
as fast as possible.
vi.
Feather Blow Relay Blow a feather 25 feet and back,
tagging the next player. A straw can be
used to direct the airflow.
vii.
Feather Race With one hand, boys carry five feathers on a
paper plate for a certain distance.
They must pick up any that drop before continuing.
viii.
Eggroll Relay Relay teams use a stick to roll plastic eggs
down a course and back.
ix.
Turtleneck Pass The first player on each team places a
tennis ball or small inflated balloon under his chin. Players pass the ball or balloon from chin-to-chin using no hands
until all players have received the object.
x.
Standing Broad Grin Judges measure the width of
grins. The widest grin wins.
i.
Get boy scouts to help run games Sue will look into this.
ii.
Need stop watches, tape, and other equipment Sue will see
find out if boy scouts have them.
Everyone will try to bring one.
iii.
Have dens go around to games together (2 dens at a relay
event or just time everything?)
iv.
Need awards. Maybe
we can get some plastic medals somewhere. Sue and Julie will make Medals
Eric will give them some laminating paper.
i.
Schedule Reverend to do prayer Eric will ask him.
ii.
Do a CD of photos for Blue and Gold with music, etc.
Everyone send any pictures they want to put on it. Eric can get a projector
do we need a screen?
iii.
Candle ceremony for Webelos Ted is in charge. Need to know which Webelos are getting arrow
of light.
iv.
Do Cake & Ice cream each den bring own ice cream,
plates, cups, spoons, forks, soda, etc.
Pack will do a sheet cake for everyone.
v.
Justin will take care of Neckerchiefs and books for
graduating.
i.
Will Meet on Feb 22

Prizes are in. Julie
would like to distribute them at the next pack meeting.
ii.
Popcorn remnants will be for sale.
i.
Get applications in by November Pack meeting
ii.
Invite people in school newsletter in September, October,
November October/November, sign up at Pack Meeting.
iii.
State executive is willing to come to school and do a
presentation to get membership.
iv.
Recruiting slide show on TV needs parental consent.
v.
Have a recruiting camp-out in the summer and have them come
to first meeting. Let people know in
June in school.

May be able to have a Saturday in March where we can bring
in some scroll saws/band saws and kids can bring their cars to cut.
