Have Den’s prepare to go up and talk.
ii.
Each Den gets a couple of minutes for a skit, joke, den
yell, recognition
iii.
Get kids more involved.
iv.
If a den wants to do a big skit, just let us know at the
committee meeting.
i.
Brian Sullivan has a program called Packmaster that prints
out the forms required for advancement.
Brain will work on transitioning this to Justin this year. Could put it on the scout room
computer. Ted will look into this.
ii.
Brian will be doing treasurer and awards. Justin, Ted, Sue, or Eric can also get
awards.
iii.
Need to have advancement turned in by committee meeting to
get them for pack meeting.
i.
November meeting, look into Parent/Son cake decorating
contest. Thanksgiving theme. Judge cakes, give out ribbons/certificates,
most creative and other themes. Swap
cakes with other boys (maybe pick number from a hat).
ii.
November 18 at Chester academy.
iii.
Bring unfrosted cake from home and all frosting and
decorations.
iv.
Popcorn also comes in on the 18th. Will hand it out at the meeting, 1 den at a
time.
v.
Get some people to arrive early to help sort popcorn.
vi.
Sue will come up with awards for cakes.
i.
Do den recognitions after the cakes while judges are doing
their thing.
ii.
Den leaders should try to get everyone there 15 minutes
early.
iii.
Sue will get boy scouts for judges.
iv.
Sue came up with 10 categories for awards.
v.
Justin will get Generic ribbons or patches.
vi.
Sue will do certificates for the 10 categories.
vii.
Each Den leader picks up popcorn early before the meeting
and passes it out to their den after the meeting: EVERYBODY OWES $$ WHEN THEY GET THE POPCORN Den leaders must give $$ to
Julie. Ted will call den leaders
who are not here.
i.
Drop-off is on
November 11 with parade.
ii.
Collect on November 19.
Drop off at the Scout Room before noon.
i.
Sue will talk to Tom and send email if they need help from
cub scouts.
i.
Any cubs who want to be in the parade, meet at the MPR at
10:30 in uniform.
i.
Ted will look at having this at a different location.
ii.
Theme: Lego’s for Louisiana.
iii.
Maybe send toys for Pack 63 in New Orleans or another pack
in the area. Could drop ship books or
toys.
iv.
Justin will work on contacting the troop, Sue will work on
contacting a toy company such as Lego to see if they can chip in. Maybe we can get the Lego catalogs as
well. See if they will ship free or
drop ship, and give discount.

Sue talked to the Lego folks. They only donate to local charities close to their corporate
offices. Sent a request, won’t accept
phone calls.
v.
Have boys pick out Lego set to give.
vi.
Limit to 15 dollars maximum. Could have den or two or more scouts putting $$ together to buy
bigger set.
vii.
Every den could make a can to put in local stores for people
to donate.
i.
Ted will look at finding a new meeting place or date. Try out Spring Hill Farm to see if that will
work (Brad Wamsley).
ii.
We can’t do the cans because it has to be council level.
iii.
Since we didn’t get much feedback from Lego and we will try
to do something local.
iv.
Sue will call the Red Cross or Channel 9 to see what we can
do to help Western NH. Justin will
check with the council as well.
v.
If Sue gets a list of what everyone needs. Den leaders can bring in a basket or
something to make up a box/basket from their den. Do a contest for best looking basket, etc. and winning den gets a
pizza party at G&P Pizza.
i.
Over $6000 in popcorn sales.
ii.
Popcorn sorting helpers should be there at 6:00 (School on
Nov. 18). Do sorting in assembly line
style.
i.
Needs to be done in December
ii.
Ted will bring forms to pack meeting
iii.
Justin will sort them by den
iv.
Justin will check out what it takes to do this online.
v.
Brian will work on this.
vi.
Den leaders need to pass in re-registration forms.
i.
November and December roundtable will be at Camp
Carpenter. Starting in January, they
may move.
ii.
Roundtable periodical has ideas for each month.
iii.
Eagle workshop is November 15. Volunteers are needed for different activities. Parents needed.
iv.
Justin got a new training list that Kevin will get up on the
web site.
v.
Scholarship is being upped to $2,500 for 2005.
vi.
April 1 is the Council Dinner at Camp Carpenter (recognize
leaders getting knots, leader advancement, etc.)
vii.
Webelos. Some
belt-loops are same as activities. Must
be completed separately with different dates.
viii.
Each pack will elect a training officer to get training for
4 – 5 people at a time for Leader Essential.
Trying to make it more flexible to get training.
ix.
Justin has info for Battleship cove for this weekend if
anybody is interested.
i.
Justin will go to this meeting. Others are welcome to attend as well.

Boys had fun!!! Even though it was WET!!

More rain gear.
i. Move to Thursday April 21. AnneMarie will verify with Chester Academy to see if we can move to this date (need Café and possibly gym).
