September 2008 E-Newsletter
Here are the important pack dates for the month of September.

would like the Pack meeting dates for the entire year as well as some
field trip dates, please click on the attachment.
Thurs. Sept. 11th: Uniform day. Please wear Class A or Class B
uniform to school.
Fri. Sept. 12th: New Scout sign ups. 6:30-8:00 at Chester Academy
Fri. Sept. 19th: New Scout den set-up. 6:30-8:00 at Chester Academy
Fri. Sept. 26th: Pack Meeting at 7:00 at Wason Pond
PACK MEETING:
This will be a campfire & optional campout. Please plan to arrive between 6:00-6:30 if you wish to set up for camping. The campfire will begin at 7:00 and the den leaders will supply all of the smore materials! Please see below for the camping equipment you will need to bring. If it rains the meeting will be held at Chester Academy.
September Popcorn Show & Sell dates:
Please ask your den leader when your den has signed up to sell popcorn. If you can't make that date, please try to attend another den's day to sell. Any and all help with this fundraiser is appreciated!
Den Set-Up:
If you have a scout that has just joined, please come to get your new den assignment as well as other information that you will need. This meeting is for adults, but if you need to bring your scout/other children there will be an adult leader to help keep them busy!

Camping Equipment Needed:
-flashlight, bug spray & folding chairs
-Food: bring all food and necessary cookware for you and your Scout. Some eat dinner before them come to simplify things. Some cook breakfast in the morning and some pack up and go out for breakfast.
-Sleeping: cots, air mattresses, sleeping bag, pillows, etc....
-Clothing: bring warm clothing as well as an extra set of dry clothes. The boys like to run around in the field at night and may get damp.
